Excellent dining experience with the unique ambiance of being adjacent to Basin Harbor Airport, a well maintained 3,000-foot grass strip (I'm a pilot, so we fly in from time to time). Stop in for a visit, amd bring the family! You'll be glad you did!
Food was fantastic, the atmosphere is wonderful and cozy, and our server Georgia was an ABSOLUTE sweetheart! Things admittedly took a bit longer to come out than we expected, but for a very full establishment it was not bad at all. Definitely coming back again!
I’ve eaten here twice with my mom while visiting Basin Harbor resort. The food is high quality, portions are generous, service is great, and the atmosphere is friendly and unassuming. I had wings and the crispy chicken bowl at one meal, and the lobster roll and corn chowder at another. I couldn’t be more pleased and will definitely be back to the Red Mill for more meals! Highly recommend.
Wonderful experience here. Wait staff went above expectations, ensuring complete satisfaction throughout the dinner. My party had some specific ingredient restrictions and our waiter Daniel made sure our food was safe. Great food as well.
It was a little dark at first but it was a good experience. No Heineken but l got a huge lobster roll!
I've been wanting to visit this place ever since I moved back home almost 8 years ago and let me tell you, I regret not going SOONER! The Red Mill was simply AMAZING, the food, service an atmosphere was just so lovely! My server, Cathy, was super sweet, patient and helpful. The steak was perfectly cooked and OMG the dirt & worms were incredible, the chocolate mousse was phenomenal and it was a lovely adult spin on a classic kids dessert. I will definitely be back!!! P.S. It would be awesome if the hours were listed on your Google listing.

Outdoor casual seating dogs allowed on leash!! After that nothing else mattered however add an awesome server and well planned well executed meals. Hubby had steak with cauliflower and a savory biscuit that was delish and I had a chicken club equally good. The desserts were all larger than I had room for but our server gave me a small dish of sorbet for a fair price. We were very pleased would definitely recommend.
